E71T-11 is designed for those applications where CVN toughness is not of foremost concern and the use of shielding gas is not appropriate. This electrode is intended for semi-automatic and automatic welding of carbon steel in single pass & limited multiple pass applications. It is designed to operate on straight polarity (DCEN). E71T-11 is well suited for lap, fillet and butt welds on steels form 16 gauge through 1/2”. The versatility of this electrode makes it an excellent selection for assembly and maintenance welding in all positions.
