The Carnie Cap System, when used properly, will withstand a 250 pound weight dropped from 10 feet without the rebar protruding. The Carnie Cap is also less expensive than troughs. Standard size fits #4 to #9 rebar and should be used with nominal 2x4 lumber. The larger size fits #5-#16 rebar and should be used with nominal 2x6 lumber
