Fall Protection Training

Course Description: Course includes trainee certification cards and literature. Fall protection is a mandatory training topic per OSHA 1926.502(a)(1) for "each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards". This course is an important overview of applicable OSHA regulations.

  • How to properly wear, install, maintain and visually inspect personal fall arrest equipment

  • Identify workplace fall hazards

  • Learn basic fall protection principles

  • Determine fall distances

  • Calculate swing fall conditions

 

Fall Protection Rescue Training

Course Description: Course includes trainee certification cards and literature.

Post fall recovery is a key safety issue mandated by OSHA. "The employer shall provide for prompt rescue of employees in the event of a fall or shall assure the self-rescue capability of employees". This course introduces participants to industrial rescue methods, emphasizing a planned approach to rescue, and is custom designed to the employers post fall recovery written plan.

 

Competent Person - Fall Protection Training

Competent Person Fall Protection Program includes Hands On Instruction

Course Description: Course includes trainee certification cards and literature. This course discusses in detail fall protection regulations, OSHA interpretations, OSHA directives and interim guidelines Attendees will be trained to identify workplace fall hazards, calculate fall distances, determine swing fall conditions and wear, use, install, maintain and inspect fall arrest equipment.

Training will include:

  • Inspection of warning line systems, guardrail systems, fall protection plans, Controlled Access Zones and Horizontal Lifeline Systems

  • Principals of fall protection

  • Fall protection techniques

  • Product limitations

  • Equipment selection

  • Training requirements

  • Manufacturers’ recommendations

  • Horizontal Lifeline design, engineering and installation
