Course: Introduction to Fall ProtectionDuration: 2 Hours Location: Diamond Tool Training Center or Jobsite Course Description: This course is an overview of applicable OSHA regulations. Attendees will be trained to identify workplace fall hazards, determine fall distances, calculate swing fall conditions and properly wear, install, maintain and visually inspect personal fall arrest equipment.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Course: Safety at Heights - Competent Person TrainingDuration: ½ Day Location: Diamond Tool Training Center or Jobsite Course Description: Course will cover applicable OSHA regulations, OSHA interpretations and manufacturers’ guidelines. Attendees will be trained to identify workplace fall hazards, calculate fall distances, determine swing fall conditions and wear, use, install, maintain and inspect fall arrest equipment. Instruction will also include warning line systems, guardrail systems, fall protection plans, controlled access zones and Horizontal Lifeline Systems.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Course: OSHA Guardrail RiggingDuration: 1 Hour Location: Diamond Tool Training Center or Jobsite Course Description: Course will cover applicable OSHA regulations, installation procedures and minimum requirements. Attendees will learn about different types of guardrails including vertical guardrail nets and wire rope systems. Special attention will focus on proper rigging, hardware selection and installation of wire rope & fittings. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Course: Train the Trainer – Competent Person Fall Protection ProgramDuration: 8 Hours Location: Diamond Tool Training Center Course Description: Course will cover in detail fall protection regulations, OSHA interpretations, OSHA directives and interim guidelines. Attendees will receive instruction on fall protection training techniques and principals of fall protection. This course provides in depth instruction on inspection techniques, product limitations, equipment selection, training requirements, manufacturers’ recommendations and Horizontal Lifeline design, engineering and installation. Course will include hands on instruction.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Course: Confined SpacesDuration: 2 Hours Location: Diamond Tool Training Center or Customer Location Course Description: Course will cover General Industry & Construction OSHA requirements for Permit & Non Permit required confined spaces. Attendees will receive training on types of confined spaces, atmospheric conditions, gas detection, rescue systems, signage requirements, ventilation procedures, and responsibility of attendants. Attendees will also receive hands-on instruction on rescue techniques, air monitoring & sampling methods and ventilation procedures.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Course: Lockout-Tagout WorkshopDuration: 2 Hours Location: Diamond Tool Training Center or Jobsite Location Course Description: Course will provide instruction on OSHA standards and safe work practices. Training includes employer responsibilities, documentation, terminology, definitions and equipment solutions for the safe lockout, tagout or blocking of equipment and energy sources.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Course: Respiratory Protection 101Duration: 2 Hours Location: Diamond Tool Training Center Course Description: Course will provide a basic overview of OSHA regulations, terminology, fit test procedures, medical questionnaires, respirator selection criteria, silica in construction and hexavalent chromium issues. The program includes an introduction to the different types of respirators available: dust mist disposables, ½ mask filtering facepieces, fullface filtering facepieces, powered air purifying, and supplied air. Attendees will also receive training on how to properly conduct qualitative fit tests. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Course: Rough Terrain Forklift Operator TrainingDuration: 2 Hours Location: Diamond Tool Course Description: Course includes instruction on regulatory guidelines, safe operating procedures, equipment maintenance, Operators’ Manual review and pre-operation inspection. This three-part program includes: classroom discussion, video instruction and hands-on operator performance evaluation. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Course: Aerial Boom & Scissor Lift Authorized Person Training
Duration: 1-2 Hours Location: Diamond Tool or Customer Location Course Description: Course includes instruction on regulatory guidelines, safe operating procedures, equipment maintenance, Operators’ Manual review and pre-operation inspection. This three-part program includes: classroom discussion, video instruction and hands-on operator performance evaluation. Attendees will receive handouts and certificate upon successful completion.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Course: Aerial Boom & Scissor Lift Train the Trainer ProgramDuration: 2-4 Hours Location: Diamond Tool or Customer Location Course Description: Course includes instruction on regulatory guidelines, safe operating procedures, equipment maintenance, Operators’ Manual review and pre-operation inspection. This three-part program includes: classroom discussion, video instruction and hands-on operator performance evaluation. For an extra fee attendees can receive instructors’ binder with video, a supply of trainers ‘certificates and handouts. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Course: OSHA 10-Hour for ConstructionDuration: 10 Hours (instruction time) Location: Diamond Tool Training Center or Customer Location
Course Description: This 10-hour course will cover construction safety and health principles and OSHA policies, procedures, and construction industry standards. Special emphasis is placed on the most hazardous areas using OSHA standards as a guide. This course is taught by an OSHA-authorized instructor. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a card from OSHA verifying their completion of the course.

Course: OSHA 30-Hour for ConstructionDuration: 30 Hours (instruction time) Location: Diamond Tool Training Center
Course Description: This 30-hour course is an in-depth presentation of the OSHA construction regulations and their implementation at job sites. Topics include OSHA standards, record-keeping, safety, health and environmental controls, fire prevention, personal protective equipment; hand and power tools; scaffolding; and excavations. This course is taught by an OSHA-authorized instructor. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a card from OSHA verifying their completion of the course.

This three-part program includes: classroom discussion, video instruction and hands-on operator performance evaluation.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Course: Trenching & ExcavationsDuration: 2 Hours Location: Diamond Tool Training Center or Jobsite Course Description: This course is an overview of applicable OSHA regulations. Attendees will be trained to identify trenching hazards, soil conditions, step back procedures and shoring methods. Attendees will also receive instruction on access and egress requirements. Class discussion will also include common causes of accidents, proper planning, and conducting safe operations. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Course: Fall Protection Rescue TrainingDuration: TBD Location: Diamond Tool Training Center Course Description: This course is customized to meet the client’s rescue plan and procedures. Class length is determined by the amount of attendees, type of rescue system and the scope of rescue procedures. This course is seriously “hands-on” and all attendees will be required to perform a mock rescue. Training will encompass self-rescue, assisted rescue and rescuing incapacitated or unconscious victims. Attendees will also have the chance to become suspended and activate a trauma suspension system. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Course: Scaffold Competent Person TrainingDuration: 2-4 Hours Location: Diamond Tool Training Center or Jobsite
Course Description: Training will include a review of OSHA standards as well as the nature of scaffold hazards, correct procedures for erecting and disassembling scaffolding, the design criteria, maximum intended load capacities, intended use of the scaffold and the various types of scaffolding systems. Class discussion will also include inspections & tagging procedures, common causes of accidents, proper planning, and conducting safe operations while working on scaffolds.

Course Description: This course can cover all of the above topics or only one. Our instructors are also authorized to teach the American Red Cross and American Heart Association courses.
